Directorate General of Science and Technology in collaboration with UET Peshawar (Department of Mechatronics) successfully held a 2-day mega event Youth Robo Tec ’22 to engage students in STEM-related fields and encourage their creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Youth Robo Tec 2022 is a step towards motivating and empowering the youth to be the next generation of innovators by adopting Industry 4.0 technologies such as #robotics, #cloudcomputing, cyber-physical systems, Internet of Things (#IoT), and artificial intelligence (#AI).
The two-day annual event included a lot of activities for youth to actively participate in several competitions like robotic competitions, e-games, projects exhibition, space poster competition, workshops, and seminars.
Some of the key Robotics projects displayed at the event included a Robotic arm, Air propeller car, Flying rocket, Obstacle avoider, and hopping robot. The event finally concluded with award and prize distribution among the participants for their best projects.
Moreover, the event included the presence of Special Assistant Industries Commerce; Abdul Karim Khan, and VCs of universities and colleges.
Overall, the event was a huge success as it generated interest in both young participants and adults to engage and participate in more of such science and technology-related events in the future.
